Tottenham poised to sign two stars in deadline-busting swoop
Tottenham are braced to sign two more stars in a deadline-busting swoop before the transfer window closes at 7pm on Monday (1 September).
Xavi Simons joined Tottenham last week as Thomas Frank continues to strengthen his attacking options.
The Netherlands international, who was heavily linked with Chelsea, has made the move to north London in a £52million deal from RB Leipzig.
Mohammed Kudus has been Tottenham’s most expensive signing of the window, having secured a £55million deal with West Ham for his signature.
Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai have also joined Spurs on permanent deals, taking their overall spending to more than £180million, with Joao Palhinha joining on loan from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham could spend £50m on last-ditch deals
This article contains exclusive comment from Stefan Borson, a former financial adviser to Man City.
Tottenham have held talks over a move for Morgan Rogers before the transfer window closes.
However, Aston Villa are expected to fight hard to keep hold of their prize asset.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “Well, when we spoke about Spurs a couple of weeks ago, I thought they were going to do more business for sure.
“I suspect he’ll try and find at least one more player, just because he’s got so many games.
“I haven’t counted them, but between now and 31 December, they’re going to have maybe 25 games let’s say.
“So, I think they are short. I think they’ll look to try and spend at least another £50million.
“It would not surprise me if they found two, but I just don’t know who those players are.
“They don’t seem very strategic in terms of how they’ve gone about their business.
“It’s been much more opportunistic rather than strategic, which is inevitable when you get to this stage of the window, which is why I think it’s so strange when teams do that.”

Man City to accept Manuel Akanji offer after Tottenham approach
In terms of a potential incoming, Football Insider revealed on 30 August Man City are ready to accept offers for Manuel Akanji after Tottenham and AC Milan joined the race for his signature.
Spurs are one of several teams interested in the centre-back, who could be allowed to leave the Etihad if “the right offer” comes in before the window closes.
Galatasaray, AC Milan and Crystal Palace have also been linked with the Switzerland international in recent weeks.
