Tottenham have re-opened talks with Hugo Lloris over a new contract, Football Insider sources understand.
Spurs are keen to tie their skipper down to an improved deal after agreeing extensions with a string of first teamers over the last month.
The London giants began preliminary discussions before Euro 2016 with the goalkeeper Lloris about tying him down to a new agreement.
A well-placed Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club are once again in negotiations with their club captain about improved terms and a deal is close to being agreed.

This is equivalent to £100,000-a-week and would run until 2021 if, as expected, an agreement can be reached.
The 29-year-old France international has three years remaining on his current £80,000-a-week deal, which he signed in July 2014.
Lloris has established himself as one of the best keepers in the world since joining Tottenham from Lyon in 2012.
He was an integral figure in the team that defied expectations to finish third in the Premier League last season and captained host nation France to a runners-up spot at Euro 2016.
Lloris has continued his fine form in the new campaign, in which he ha started seven of the team’s nine Premier League and Champions League matches and conceded just three goals.
Speaking ahead of Euro 2016, Lloris indicated that he was comfortable with manager Mauricio Pochettino and his backroom staff
“I have faith in Mauricio Pochettino and with Toni Jimenez, the goalkeeping coach,” said Lloris, as quoted by the Mirror. “The club is in a very good dynamic, the young players are in the England team and we are building something strong.
“It is very positive. I don’t even think about leaving. For me, the adventure is on course.”
Senior Spurs players who have signed new contracts in recent weeks include Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Christian Eriksen, while Tom Carroll and Harry Winks have also penned new deals.
In other Tottenham news, the Londoners are looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of an award-winning Bundesliga star.
