Tottenham star follows in the footsteps of Bukayo Saka as fresh development emerges

Tottenham are aiming to throw up a shock this season by challenging at the top of the table under Thomas Frank.

Although Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are battling for the Premier League title, Tottenham cannot be ruled out after starting the season strongly.

Spurs secured a 2-1 victory over Leeds United last time out to put themselves in third position, only two points behind the first-place Gunners.

The North London giants have impressed with the football they’ve played under Frank, with Destiny Udogie becoming a crucial player at left-back.

Destiny Udogie joins Elite Project Group

While Troy Deeney blasted Udogie for his display against Brighton, the fleet-footed Italian has started the last three Premier League games.

The 22-year-old has created strong competition with his compatriot Djed Spence, who was called up to the England squad to reward his performances.

Udogie has caught the eye on the field, but off it, the flying full-back has changed agents from Stefano Antonelli to Elite Project Group, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano on X.

The Elite Project Group represents some of the Premier League’s most well-known players, including Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka, Aston Villa loanee Jadon Sancho, and Fulham’s Alex Iwobi.

Eddie Nketiah

Tottenham fans will hope this switch doesn’t persuade Udogie doesn’t push for a move out of Spurs, and instead plays out his long-term contract until 2030.

Where Udogie must improve at Tottenham

Udogie is one of the most exciting left-backs to watch in Europe, combining lightning speed and outrageous athleticism on the overlap.

Unfortunately, his marauding runs normally lead to a poor final ball, and that is something he must improve on at Tottenham.

The Italian has only recorded six goal involvements in 74 appearances for the club, and considering he’s an attacking full-back, those numbers are disappointing.

Hopefully, as he matures into an even better footballer, Udogie’s numbers in the final third will explode and he will become someone feared by opponents.
