Tottenham fans were left disappointed by the lack of Erik Lamela in the squad for the game against West Bromwich Albion, but the winger has revealed where he was via Snapchat.
Lamela shared the news that he was attending the birth of his first child, by showing a picture of himself and his new baby on social media.

The winger has not featured for Spurs since October 2016 due to a hip injury, but fans were excited at the prospect of the player returning against WBA after Mauricio Pochettino dropped a hint he would feature.
When team news broke fans were in uproar, publicly sharing their opinions on Twitter, but as it turns out the star was busy at the birth of his child.
