Christian Eriksen has suffered a “slight injury” with Denmark and he will not travel with his team to face the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening.
The 24-year-old played the full 90 minutes for Denmark in Friday evening’s 4-1 victory over Kazakhstan and even got on the score sheet twice himself.
However, the Danish football association have revealed via their official Twitter account that the attacking midfielder is slightly injured.
“Christian Eriksen is slightly injured and therefore will not travel to face the Czech Republic,” reads the Tweet.

Fellow midfielder Mousa Dembele has also suffered an injury over the break with Belgium, while Vincent Janssen also suffered a blow to the head, which ruled him out of the Netherlands’ clash against Luxembourg.
Harry Kane was also sent home from duty with England, but it is believed that it was a pre-agreement with the star forward having just returned from injury himself.
Star defender Toby Alderweireld has also suffered a long injury lay-off following a collision with team-mate Jan Vertonghen during a fixture against West Brom.
He has not featured since October and fans will now be hoping for no more injury news as they sit in fifth place and target the title with a match against West Ham coming up next.
In other Tottenham news, Dele Alli has stated that Mousa Dembele is the best footballer at the club.
