Tottenham tipped to axe two stars v Aston Villa after hint via Sky - Robinson
Paul Robinson has tipped Tottenham to ring the changes against Aston Villa on Sunday and hand starts to Oliver Skipp and Bryan Gil.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one heaped praise on the young pair who he claimed have been Spurs’ best two players this season.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in desperate need of a win this Sunday when Aston Villa travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 47-year-old manager is expected to make personnel changes against Dean Smith’s side after admitting to Sky Sports his team selection was wrong in the north London derby.
Skipp and Gil were both second half substitutes in the 3-1 loss against Arsenal.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on the Villa clash, Robinson said: “I think Skipp will come in alongside Hojbjerg.

“Skipp is a young lad, who has been out on loan and all of a sudden is an integral part of the team. He was missed against Arsenal. It’s a sign of where the club is at and how poorly others are playing right now.
“Skipp has done extremely well and I would say now he is undroppable. He has to come back into the team this weekend if he is fully fit.
“Gil and Skipp have been the best players for Spurs this season. Gil certainly is attacking-wise.
“I think Gil starts against Villa as well because [Harry] Kane and [Heung-min] Son look out of form. I know Spurs have a lot of quality in forward areas but Gil has been the strongest performer out of the lot.
“Why he didn’t start or play longer at the weekend [against Arsenal] I don’t know. Nuno has to make changes this weekend and Gil should be one.”
