Tottenham to accept Manor Soloman offer – sources

Tottenham plan to accept a loan offer this month for winger Manor Solomon, sources have told Football Insider.

Spurs have told the 25-year-old forward, who has not played for the club for 11 months after a serious knee injury, he can agree a temporary move before the window closes.

It’s said a loan move is currently more likely than a permanent deal and is expected to be agreed before the end of the transfer window.

Solomon joined Spurs on a free transfer last July, utilising a FIFA ruling that allows foreign players in Russia and Ukraine to suspend their contracts unilaterally due to the war in the region.

Spurs are yet to sign anyone over the age of 18 this transfer window but are keen on bringing in a new forward before the season starts.

Football Insider revealed (August 7) that the club are advancing in talks for Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

Tottenham open to Manor Soloman loan offers

Soloman made the switch to north London after impressing on loan at Fulham but has only made six appearances for Spurs and is yet to score a single goal.

Despite his lack of minutes, the winger was included in Tottenham’s pre-season squad for their tour of South Korea and Japan coming off the bench in their 3-2 win over Vissel Kobe.

Spurs are set to play German giants Bayern Munich in their final pre-season game of the summer at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on August 10th.

Losing Soloman would leave Spurs with few other wing options so they will likely have to delve into the market to try and find a replacement.

Football Insider revealed (August 5) that they are currently battling it out with Liverpool for the signing of Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

In other news, Tottenham are expecting to receive a “huge” offer from Saudi Arabia for striker.
