Tottenham told to ‘go all out’ to complete Oblak signing after source update – pundit
Paul Robinson has told Tottenham to “go all out” to sign Jan Oblak if Hugo Lloris departs at the end of the season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Harte Lane number one heaped praise on Oblak, 28, and described him as a “grade 1 goalkeeper”.
Hugo Lloris is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave on a free.

A Spurs source has told Football Insider that Spurs are assessing potential goalkeeper signings, with West Brom’s Sam Johnstone, 28, a target.
Robinson would like to see his former club push the boat out to sign a “world-class” goalkeeper like Oblak.
“Oblak would be my first choice,” he told Football Insider. “I’d go all out to get him.
“Nick Pope is an outstanding goalkeeper as well if Spurs want to go down the route of an English goalkeeper.
“Oblak is a phenomenal though. He has played behind a solid Atletico defence for years.
“I like the way he commands his area and keeps his goal. He is a world-class goalkeeper.
“You put his name up there with Alisson, De Gea, Ederson and Ter Stegen. He is in that category.
“[Jordan] Pickford and Pope are not top grade, they are just below that. Whereas Oblak is a grade 1 goalkeeper.”

Oblak has just over 18 months remaining on his contract at Atletico Madrid.
He has kept six clean sheets in 18 appearances across all competitions this season.
