Twitter cannot make its mind up on Wanyama reported £11m transfer to Tottenham

Tottenham have reportedly sealed the £11million transfer of Victor Wanyama and Twitter cannot quite make its mind up on whether to be impressed or indifferent.

The combative midfielder has made a name for himself since arriving from Celtic in 2013, but much of the football social media world seems unconvinced with Wanyama’s credentials.

Wanyama is set to end a long running transfer saga by joining Tottenham, but Twitter has voiced concerns about what the 24-year-old will actually bring to a Spurs side that already has the likes of Eric Dier.

So, Twitter seems spilt on the Southampton man who is set to become Tottenham’s first major signing of the summer.

Spurs are looking to add more quality to an already impressive side, but it remains to be seen whether Wanyama can fit that bill.
