Tottenham well placed to agree signing of Dutch sensation on free – O’Rourke
Feyenoord striker Zepiqueno Redmond could be a “bargain signing” for Tottenham Hotspur this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Daniel Levy as big plans in North London this summer, as Football Insider revealed on 19 April that an overhaul of Tottenham’s squad is on the horizon with Ange Postecoglou highly likely to be sacked.
Former Spurs and England keeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider last month that recruitment talks seem to be on hold amid the speculation over Postecoglou’s future, but that’s not proven to be the case.
That’s because Football Insider sources have revealed Tottenham are one of several European clubs keen on the 18-year-old Redmond, whose contract at Feyenoord is in line to expire at season’s end.
Seen as a bargain signing for Spurs after appearances for Feyenoord against both Milan clubs in the Champions League, Redmond is very highly-regarded in the Netherlands despite his lack of experience.

Tottenham face competition for Zepiqueno Redmond transfer
Tottenham are under no illusions that Redmond is attracting attention due to his potential rather than a track record, but Football Insider sources have said they are well-placed to bring in the teenager striker.
The Netherlands Under-19 international wouldn’t be ready to lead the line straight away in North London, but Redmond’s availability on a free transfer has resulted in competition for Spurs to secure his services.
Sources have told Football Insider that Bournemouth – whose manager Andoni Iraola is right at the top of Levy’s wishlist – have also eyed up Redmond this summer, as have numerous clubs in the Bundesliga.

Tottenham striker plan needed ahead of crucial summer
Regardless of who occupies the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next term, Spurs’ need for reinforcements in attack is clear if they’re to avoid another season as bad as 2024–25 has proven to be.
Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Mathys Tel’s loan move from Bayern Munich has failed in every aspect at Tottenham, and was only ever a transfer which highlighted Spurs’ desperation in January.
Spurs have relied on Brennan Johnson and James Maddison to provide their bulk of their goals this term amid injuries to Richarlison and Dominic Solanke, and it’s clear that Levy needs to bring in a top-class number nine above all else this summer.
