‘Tottenham backed to complete deal for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus’

Tottenham have been tipped to complete a summer transfer swoop for West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus.

The Ghana international notched five goals and three assists in the Premier League last season for a Hammers outfit who finished just 14th.

Amid Thomas Frank’s quest to enjoy a strong transfer window, Tottenham are keen to sign Kudus amid West Ham’s PSR concerns.

Former Brentford boss Frank must recruit well ahead of next season after Spurs predecessor Ange Postecoglou led the North Londoners to the Champions League via a Europa League triumph.

Tottenham urged to seal move for ‘terrific’ Kudus

Frank is keen to add a new winger to his ranks this summer, as Tottenham have eyed a move for Bournemouth’s Semenyo.

But the North London outfit could land a move for Kudus as an alternative to the 25-year-old who scored 13 goals in all competitions for the Cherries last term.

Discussing Spurs’ interest in the West Ham man live on talkSPORT [1 July], Ally McCoist said: “It’s a no-brainer for Tottenham, I think he’s a terrific player, I really do, I like him a lot.”

West Ham want to sign Hutchinson

Last season, Hutchinson produced an uninspiring return of three goals and two assists.

However, the winger’s efforts were largely hindered by the fact that he was playing for an Ipswich Town side that suffered immediate relegation back to the Championship.

The 21-year-old proved what he can do for a better functioning team when he notched 10 goals and five assists when the Tractor Boys won promotion from the second tier in 2023/24.

Hutchinson enjoyed a strong football education, having spent time in both the Arsenal and Chelsea academies before agreeing permanent terms with Ipswich last summer.

The winger also showed his class by helping England win the Under-21 European Championship, as he scored during the Young Lions’ 3-2 victory over Germany in the final on Saturday, 28 June.

Meanwhile, Graham Potter’s men have been tipped to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen in a West Ham Zone exclusive.
