Harry Winks delivers two-word verdict following victory v Aston Villa
By Emma Sanders
Harry Winks claimed his side produced a “great result” against Aston Villa during the 2-0 victory in the third round of the FA Cup tie at White Hart Lane.
The 20-year-old was named in the starting XI for the seventh time this season as his side had to battle for the full 90 minutes to secure a victory.
Tottenham started off poorly and failed to produce any clear-cut chances in the first half so Mauricio Pochettino was forced to bring on Dele Alli after an hour.
Spurs eventually broke the deadlock in the 71st minute when Ben Davies netted his first goal for the club before Son Heung-Min doubled their lead.
Great result! Looking forward to the next round #facup

Pochettino named a number of young players in the team but Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou were both left on the bench, though they did come on as late substitutions.
