Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou ‘could be next Premier League manager sacked’

Tottenham Hotspur supporters believe that Ange Postecoglou could be the next Premier League manager to be fired after Erik ten Hag lost his job.

Man United parted ways with the 54-year-old on Monday (28 October) after a poor start to the season which has left the club 14th in the table.

Spurs have lost the same number of games as the 20-time champions this season, with Postecoglou’s side suffering their fourth defeat of the campaign on Sunday (27 October).

Crystal Palace won their first match of the season at Tottenham’s expense, with Jean-Philippe Mateta scoring the only goal of the game.

Postecoglou has been openly critical of his team at points this season, demanding more from them in terms of performance.

Spurs are back in action on Wednesday (30 October) in the EFL Cup when they face Man City before hosting Aston Villa on Sunday in the Premier League.

The 59-year-old is under contract with the Londoners until 2027, but Spurs fans aren’t convinced he will survive the whole length of that deal.

Fans have claimed he “needs to win a trophy,” while others have claimed he’s a “clueless soul” as the pressure begins to mount on the Australian.
