Tottenham’s Richarlison offer ‘too good to turn down’ – Keith Wyness
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed a bid of £60million for Richarlison would be “too good to turn down” for Tottenham.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed the 27-year-old “hasn’t settled with Spurs”.
Richarlison has been widely linked with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, with Al-Riyadiyah claiming (22 July) that Al-Ahli are monitoring his situation.
Football Insider revealed in May that Tottenham are keen to recoup the fee they paid to land the Brazil star if he is sold this summer.
The forward joined Tottenham from Everton in 2022 for a reported £60million but is yet to nail down a starting spot for the Lilywhites.
Richarlison ‘should be going’ from Tottenham this summer, says Wyness
He managed 12 goals and four assists in 31 games for Spurs last season after a dismal first campaign at the club which saw him score just three times.
Wyness told Football Insider‘s Insider Track podcast: “I think that sum of money is too good to turn down.
“I don’t know if that will be the actual bid, it could well be very structured.
“But at £60m, I would be selling him all day. He hasn’t settled with Spurs.

“He’s Brazil’s number nine, and I think he would do well in the Saudi market.
“If the structure is right on this deal, I think he should be going from Tottenham this summer.”
