Trent Alexander-Arnold reacts to message from Liverpool replacement Conor Bradley
Trent Alexander-Arnold reacted to a message from Liverpool teammate Conor Bradley on social media after the win over West Ham.
Having witnessed Arsenal drop points in their 1-1 draw with Brentford, the Reds went into their match against the Irons knowing a win would leave them needing just two more victories to secure the Premier League title.
Liverpool seemed to be cruising, after taking the lead through Saudi Pro League target Luis Diaz, until Andy Robertson put the ball into his own net to level the scores.
Thankfully for the Merseyside club, Virgil van Dijk was on hand to head home just one minute after the Scotland international’s gaffe, giving the Reds a 2-1 win over the East London side.

Conor Bradley tells Liverpool fans it’s ‘nice to be back out there’
Following the win, Bradley posted a series of photos to Instagram, captioned: “Nice to be back out there after a few weeks out. Another step closer!”
The post was liked by teammate Alexander-Arnold, showing support for the young right-back looking to make the position his own, with his English teammate seemingly on his way out of Anfield this summer.
Conor Bradley auditions as Alexander-Arnold successor with Jeremie Frimpong deal mooted
Football Insider Verdict
No teammate is ever likely to celebrate an injury to one of their colleagues, but Alexander-Arnolds’ ankle issue has given Bradley the platform to use the rest of the season to audition as his replacement.
The Northern Ireland international has been spoken of as a potential alternative for the Englishman for a number of years.
Now, with Alexander-Arnold seemingly on his way to Real Madrid in the summer, Bradley has a chance to step up and claim the right-back role as his own.

However, the position will not be delivered to him on a silver platter. Liverpool are keen on signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, Mick Brown told Football Insider exclusively.
The Dutchman is regarded as one of the world’s best and Bradley will have his work cut out to prove to Arne Slot, and the Reds’ recruitment team, not to look externally to replace Alexander-Arnold.
