Trevoh Chalobah responds to Eberechi Eze’s post amid Crystal Palace return news
Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah reacted to Eberechi Eze’s latest social media post amid links with a summer return to Crystal Palace.
The centre-back is currently away at the Club World Cup with Enzo Maresca‘s side, remaining on the bench for a 2-0 win over LAFC on Monday, 16 June, with goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez.
Supporters have been desperate for the Eagles to re-sign the 25-year-old, and with Marc Guehi continuously linked with an exit from Selhurst Park, it could be an important deal for Oliver Glasner.
However, Football Insider understands that Chalobah is in Maresca’s plans for the upcoming season, having made a key impact since his return to Stamford Bridge in January.
The one-time England international made 19 appearances as the Blues secured Champions League qualification for the 2025/26 season, so he will only be sold if reinforcements are found.

Trevoh Chalobah return rumours squashed at Chelsea
Taking to Instagram (17 June), Eze shared a series of images with New Balance Football, with the caption: “NB Family,” and a red heart emoji.
Chris Richards responded by writing: “The 2 hands on the table got it,” with laughing emojis, while Chalobah said: “I’m busy. I’m at Working,” with more laughing faces.
The Chelsea centre-back clearly remains well-connected to his former teammates at Selhurst Park.
Oliver Glasner could be set to lose multiple Crystal Palace stars
Football Insider verdict
Concerns over Guehi’s future at Crystal Palace could become a reality as Football Insider understands that Newcastle United are Arsenal are set to go head-to-head for his signature.
Jean-Philippe Mateta, Daniel Munoz, Dean Henderson, and Tyrick Mitchell have all also been linked with exits this summer, but that will not be the least of Glasner’s worries over the coming weeks.
Football Insider understands that Bayern Munich have turned their attention to Eze after missing out on Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, who is now set to join Liverpool ahead of next season.

Glasner could have a very difficult time replicating the 2024/25 season without his biggest stars, especially after beating Man City to the FA Cup in front of a packed-out Wembley Stadium.
Adam Wharton could be yet another big-name player who leaves Selhurst Park, but after showing so much promise last season, Steve Parish will be expected to back the manager in the transfer market.
