Former England international Trevor Sinclair has suggested that Everton renew manager Ronald Koeman’s contract if they want “big name” players to sign for the club.
The Toffees are currently performing well in the league as they occupy seventh place with seven points between themselves and eighth.
However, reports stating that Romelu Lukaku has rejected a new contract at the club has seemingly dampened spirits.
The Lukaku news has led to many having their say on the club and former Premier League ace Sinclair posted on his personal Twitter account on Thursday that the answer could be in awarding Koeman with a new contract
If Everton are seriously ambitious they might want to renew Koeman's contract THEN big names may put pen to paper?

Koeman is currently contracted to Everton until 2019 after joining from Southampton in the summer.
The Dutch boss has seemingly make an easy transition from the south coast as he has so far proven successful following a couple of mediocre seasons under Roberto Martinez.
He will be eager to tie down star man Lukaku to a new deal with the Belgian scoring a phenomenal 20 goals in 29 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
But, with the striker’s deal also set to run out in 2019, the Toffees could be without both senior men in two years time.
In other Everton news, the Toffees could seal this midfielder deal on Saturday.
