West Ham fans react on Twitter to draw against FK Astra
By Alex Taylor
West Ham have drawn the first leg of their Europa League play-off 1-1 against FK Astra Giurgiu – and fans were unimpressed with the performance.
Slaven Bilic’s side opened the scoring through a Mark Noble penalty on the stroke of half-time before Denis Alibec struck back with just seven minutes to spare to level the scores.
West Ham have already beaten NK Domzale 4-2 on aggregate in the previous round to reach the final qualifying round of the tournament as they aim to reach the competition’s group stages.
Supporters on social media slammed their team with one fan claiming that the club are dead to him following the result.
Here are a selection of the messages on Twitter:

@avo14ross Hahaha! Qualifiers are just proper lotteries. You could tell West Ham thought they could just turn up and win tonight.

Astra beat the Hammers 2-1 in the competition last season but have had their coach, Marius Sumudica, suspended for the clash.
The tie now hangs in the balance and the clubs will meet against in seven days time at the Olympic Stadium to decide who will reach the group stages of the Europa League.
West Ham have never won a major European trophy and will be hoping to go all the way under their new Croatian boss.
In other West Ham team news, the Hammers will play their first Premier League game in their new Olympic Stadium this weekend, as they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League.
