Two attacking mainstays axed in 3-4-2-1 - This Tottenham XI will demolish Brighton

COMMENT

Tottenham Hotspur take on newly-promoted Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday night and will be looking to build on their emphatic 5-1 victory over Stoke at Wembley on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to increase the pressure on the their top-four rivals Liverpool and Arsenal, with both teams also in action this evening.

Spurs closed the gap to fifth-placed Liverpool to just two points with their first Premier League win in four matches. They will be looking to continue their momentum against a Brighton side who are without a win in their last five games,

The game provides Spurs boss Pochettino with the perfect opportunity to switch to a back-three, with centre-back Jan Vertonghen one yellow card away from being suspended for the weekend’s clash with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
