Two attacking mainstays axed in 3-4-2-1 – This Tottenham XI will demolish Brighton
Midfielders
Danny Rose (Left wing-back) – Fielding Davies in a back-three alongside Dier and Foyth also provides full-back Danny Rose with a chance to get some much-needed minutes. The 27-year-old is still building up his fitness level and this is a good opportunity for him to start as he battles back from a long-term injury.
Mousa Dembele (Centre-midfield) – The Belgian international has been superb for Spurs this season since his return to the side. He can protect the back-three and provide the perfect link between the defence and the attacking players. He is also great at breaking up play.
Harry Winks (Centre-midfield) – The England international has been in impressive form for Tottenham this season and deserves to keep his place in the side alongside Dembele, ahead of Moussa Sissoko.
Kieran Trippier (Right wing-back) – Trippier should keep his place in the side from the win against Stoke but should play in a more advanced full-back position, rather than at right-back.
