Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez and left-back Ben Davies have been named in the worst Premier League team of the week, according to football.london.
Spurs dropped points for the fourth Premier League game in a row when they drew 1-1 with Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had to play for over half an hour with ten men after Sanchez was sent off in the 52nd minute. The defender flung his arm out to stop Watford ace Richarlison from running past and was shown a straight red card for use of his elbow.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Davies, who was playing as Tottenham’s left-sided wing-back, endured a difficult afternoon and did not offer anything going forward.
Sanchez was rated three out of 10 for his performance while Davies was not much better with a rating of five.
Moussa Sissoko and Harry Kane were also named in the Worst XI, which combines players from all games featuring London clubs.
Tottenham have competed for the Premier League title under Pochettino in each of the last two seasons, but their title challenge this campaign is now all but over, with them 18 points behind leaders Manchester City.
Spurs are without a win in their last four league matches, a run which has seen them fall to sixth place in the league table. They are now in a race to finish in the Champions League places but are four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
