Tyler Dibling will be an ‘unbelievable signing for Tottenham’
Tottenham will look to be active in the summer transfer window to push the club back in a positive direction after a dismal 2024-25 campaign.
Ange Postecoglou’s team have struggled for consistent results, with his squad having been hampered by injuries throughout the campaign.
That is why bolstering the squad is going to be important for Spurs in the summer, providing Postecoglou with strength in depth across the board.
Football Insider revealed Tottenham plan to activate Johnny Cardoso’s £21million release clause this summer when their first-refusal option becomes active.
Postecoglou has identified the defensive midfield position as one that he wants to strengthen as a priority in the summer.
Football Insider revealed that Postecoglou pushed for a forward signing at the end of the January transfer window, and that could lead Spurs to pursuing Tyler Dibling in the summer.
Tottenham could swoop for Tyler Dibling
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Football Insider journalist Connor Humm revealed that Southampton will “need the money to rebuild” if they’re relegated, which could lead to Tottenham target Dibling being available.
“Dibling’s unbelievable,” Humm told Football Insider.
“You watch Southampton they are really bad, apart from Dibling.
“He’s not going to be cheap.
“If they get relegated they’re going to need the money to rebuild again because they need to get back into the Premier League.
“If Tottenham can get him, like fair play, that is one young player who would do really well for them.
“If you’re not going to back the manager with the proper budget then don’t expect trophies at the end of the day.”
Tyler Dibling has been Southampton’s bright spark
Southampton’s return to the Premier League has been an extremely tough one, with the club currently bottom of the table after 25 games.

However, the 19-year-old has been a bright spark for the Saints and has brought plenty of positivity to St. Mary’s Stadium.
Dibling has made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists to build up attention on him from outside the club.
Football Insider revealed that Southampton will hold out for offers between £20-30million for Dibling, but if they are relegated that figure could change.
