West Ham fans have taken to social media to express their delight after the club announced that winger Robert Snodgrass had joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan.
The Hammers confirmed on their official Twitter account and official website that the 29-year-old attacker had joined up with former Hull City manager Steve Bruce at the Championship club.
Typical West Ham, overpay and panic buy to please fans. The fans are as bad as the owners.

Fans instantly responded to the news with a majority of the supporters showing signs of happiness and delight, while others wished their player the best of luck away at Villa Park.
The winger only moved to the London Stadium seven months ago after being Hull’s outstanding player in the first half of last season, and fans believe the January deal for Snodgrass was a waste now that he’s gone away on loan.

Since joining the club at the beginning of the year the former Hull winger failed to impress manager Slaven Bilic after made a total of 15 appearances across all competitions without scoring a single goal.
The Scottish international was well liked at newly-relegated Hull and his performance at the club was a different story to West Ham.
In the previous season Snodgrass scored nine goals in 24 appearances for his ex-club in just five months before moving down south to join the Hammers.
In other West Ham news, Sunderland boss Simon Grayson has offered his thoughts on the Hammers’ reported interest in Ndong, while his asking price has also been named.
