Tyrell Malacia shares video evidence as Celtic work on agreement

Tyrell Malacia is widely expected to leave Man United this summer and has been made to train away from the first-team squad at Carrington.

The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Dutch champions PSV, but they opted not to make the move permanent as he retuned to United.

Ruben Amorim has made it clear that the left-back is not a part of his plans for the upcoming season, but there is no shortage of interested in his signature.

Football Insider revealed on 14 July that Celtic are interested in signing Malacia but may only be able to do so if United subsidise his hefty wage packet.

However, there has also been interest from Eredivisie clubs, who would likely be able to pay more than Celtic, handing the Scottish giants a blow in their pursuit.

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Celtic could struggle to sign Malacia should their rivals step up their interest.

Man United make Tyrell Malacia decision amid Celtic interest

Ruben Amorim is planning to clear fringe players from his squad this summer, as seen with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho.

Alongside Malacia, those players have also been made to train alone while they find themselves new destinations before the Premier League season begins.

Taking to Instagram on 22 July, the left-back shared clips originally posted by his personal trainer of his on-pitch work as he aims to keep fit.

The video footage could act as evidence to interested parties that he is working hard to remain sharp and ready to go should a transfer materialise.

Football Insider revealed on 22 July that Man United could sign Benjamin Sesko after Arsenal diverted their attentions towards signing Viktor Gyokeres.

The RB Leipzig striker has long been linked with a move to the Emirates, but the Red Devils have now emerged as leading contenders for his signature.

This comes after former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Man United are targeting new strikers as Gyokeres is set to join Arsenal.
