Van Der Vaart issues support for Tottenham star on Twitter ahead of West Brom clash

Former Tottenham favourite Rafael van der Vaart has issued his support for current Spurs star Dele Alli ahead of Saturday’s clash with West Brom.
The 20-year-old starlet has scored an impressive seven goals in his last four league matches and could equal a record held by some impressive names on Saturday.
If the attacking midfield star manages to bag a goal against Tony Pulis’ outfit then he will equal Teddy Sheringham, Robbie Keane, Gareth Bale and Van Der Vaart’s record of scoring in five consecutive Premier League matches.
The Holland international is keen to add another name to the list and on his personal Twitter account before the match he posted his support for Alli.

Van Der Vaart was highly impressive at Tottenham after signing from Real Madrid in 2010.

The experienced Dutchman played for just two years at the club, but he left his mark and is still remembered fondly with 28 goals and 18 assists from his 77 appearances.
Alli will now be keen to join the list above as he continues to rise to stardom at his young age.
The youngster has already played in 71 encounters since joining from MK Dons in the 2015 winter window with a return of 21 goals and 15 assists.
He will now be eager to continue impressing, helping Tottenham to compete with Chelsea at the top of the table.
