Vinnie Jones has mocked Piers Morgan after he claimed he would “leave the country” if Tottenham win the league and Arsene Wenger signs a new deal at Arsenal.
The former FA Cup winner responded by saying that there will not be a “dry eye in the crowd” if both scenarios were to occur, clearly poking fun at the 52-year-old.
Broadcaster Morgan is a well-known Arsenal fan and has openly called for Wenger to leave the club after 13 years without a Premier League title – his contract expires in the summer.
Furthermore, their north London rivals, Tottenham, are four points behind current league leaders, Chelsea, who will be looking over their shoulders with six matches of the season remaining.
Here was Jones responding to Morgan after he made this comment regarding Spurs and their rivals.

At this moment in time, Spurs are second in the table on 71 points from their 32 matches, a mammoth 14 points ahead of the Gunners, who have a game in hand.
To the worry of Arsenal fans if Chelsea slip up and Tottenham continue their impressive form then there could be the big possibility that Spurs could be crowned English champions.
Furthermore, the final six matches of the season could also see Wenger’s side finish outside of the top four for the first time in his tenure.
After another poor campaign under the Frenchman, many have called for him to leave the club in the summer when his contract expires.
In other Tottenham news, this 18-goal attacker should be dropped ahead of the Chelsea and Spurs FA Cup showdown.
