Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister shared a heartfelt message whilst away on international break with Argentina.
Mac Allister returned to the Reds’ starting line-up in Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal before international duty, as the side maintained their perfect record in the Premier League.
He had missed the previous game against Newcastle with a minor knock, but on his return, he not only featured for Liverpool, but he was also called upon by Argentina during the break.
He didn’t start in Argentina’s win over Venezuela, but was selected in the most recent game where the reigning World Cup champions lost to Ecuador in a 1-0 defeat.
Following their loss, the midfielder shared a message on social media, keeping in high spirits despite the loss.

Liverpool face transfer battle to sign Marc Guehi
While Liverpool players continued to play a major part on international duty, the hierarchy has been dealt a possible blow for future plans.
Football Insider revealed that Man City have joined the race to sign Guehi next summer, and are prepared to beat Liverpool to his signature.
A move to Anfield was blocked on deadline day by Palace boss Oliver Glasner, but with the defender being available for free next summer, Pep Guardiola’s side are expected to make a strong push to secure the England international.
