Wan-Bissaka reacts excitedly after West Ham agree new signing
West Ham right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was active on social media following the club announcing another new signing.
West Ham suffered a difficult 2024/25 campaign, which saw Graham Potter replace Julen Lopetegui as manager, with the team ultimately finishing 14th in the Premier League.
With Potter now overseeing his first full summer in charge, there have been several changes within the squad—particularly regarding departures.
Long-serving names including Vladimir Coufal, Lukasz Fabianski and Aaron Cresswell left West Ham this summer following the expiry of their contracts.
Despite that, the side’s business in the transfer market has stepped up in recent days as West Ham recently confirmed the signing of El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague.
Now, the East London side have announced yet another new arrival and sparked reactions from players across the league, including Wan-Bissaka, as anticipation builds ahead of the new season.

Premier League stars react as Kyle Walker-Peters completes West Ham move
On 20 July, West Ham officially confirmed the signing of former Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old posted on Instagram shortly after the announcement, writing: “My new home. Really excited to be here, can’t wait to get started! COYI.”
His post was met with plenty of support, including a message from new teammate Wan-Bissaka, who replied: “Welcome bro.”
Other Premier League players also reacted, with Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke commenting “Let’s get it”, while Ollie Watkins and Kieran Trippier both liked the post.
Walker-Peters had been close to joining Besiktas under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the deal collapsed and he now links up with Potter at West Ham.
The right-back will bring versatility to the side, able to play on either flank while also offering a threat going forward.
Walker-Peters made 202 appearances for Southampton, but following their relegation from the Premier League, he departed after the expiry of his contract.

West Ham could offload Emerson Palmieri as full-back reshuffle continues
While the Hammers remain active in the transfer market, outgoings are expected as Potter continues to reshape the squad.
Following Diouf’s arrival, Emerson Palmieri has been linked with a potential move away from West Ham.
Despite his experience and minutes under previous managers, West Ham’s desire to strengthen the full-back positions—combined with Emerson having just one year left on his contract—has cast uncertainty over his long-term future.
