Wataru Endo reacts as Liverpool make announcement on Salah and Mac Allister
Wataru Endo was among those to react after Liverpool issued a significant update on Mo Salah and Alexis Mac Allister.
Arne Slot‘s first season in charge at Anfield proved to be a hugely successful one, as the club charged to the Premier League title.
Both Salah and Mac Allister were key to that with a number of their contributions, which have seen them recognised considerably.
Salah has already been named as the Player of the Year at Liverpool, with the Egyptian also claiming a number of other awards.

Mo Salah and Alexis Mac Allister handed new nominations
Mac Allister has also been rewarded for his efforts at times this season, and both players are now in contention for more individual prizes.
On Friday (20 June), it was announced that the Liverpool duo are among the six players who have been nominated for the PFA’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
Along with the Reds pair, Man United captain Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice are also up for the honour.
As Liverpool posted confirmation of the nominations for their two players on their Instagram page, Endo was one of those who showed support for his teammates by liking that post.
Liverpool nominees are no surprise
Football Insider Verdict
It does make sense that both Salah and Mac Allister have been nominated for this award, given how important they were for the side that won the Premier League title this season.
Indeed, this recognition is arguably another reminder of how important it was for Liverpool to agree another contract with Salah this season, before his previous deal expired this summer.
After an incredible season in front of goal where he was the driving force behind that success, it would be a surprise if this ends up becoming another individual award for the Egyptian.
As for Mac Allister, he too produced some vital moments and was a key influencer in midfield so is good value for his nomination as well.
Even so, given how clear Liverpool were in the final table, some may even question why other members of their squad, such as captain Virgil van Dijk, missed out on nominations of their own here.
