Wayne Rooney seriously impressed by Brighton player as Harry Kane cited
Thomas Tuchel is preparing to name his next England squad, and Wayne Rooney believes the Three Lions manager must be looking at one Brighton star.
England sealed World Cup qualification with a 5-0 win over Latvia in the last international break, meaning the Three Lions will be at the tournament in North America next summer.
The November international break means England will play two World Cup qualifiers with nothing on the line against Serbia and Albania.
It is one of the final opportunities for Tuchel to call up and look at players who may not have so far been in the picture for a World Cup spot.

Wayne Rooney tips Danny Welbeck for England return
Danny Welbeck has six Premier League goals in 10 matches this season, scoring the opener in Brighton‘s 3-0 win over Leeds.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show, [November 3rd], the former Man United striker believes his former team mate must be looked at by Tuchel.
“He scores goals he works hard, and you know he’s put himself in a position where Thomas Tuchel will definitely have to look at him,” Rooney said.
“Beyond Harry Kane he’s probably the best England striker, well the most in-form striker from England so he’s given himself a chance.

“I’m not saying Danny would happily go accept being on the bench, but I think you know Ollie Watkins and players like that who are looking to try and get in the squad they’re still young enough.
“They want to be pushing Harry Kane for that starting place, which I don’t think anyone would at the minute with Harry Kane.
“But I think Danny go a bit like Jordan Henderson and use his experience getting around the players, he’s popular player wherever he has been with his team mates but also have the ability to come on and make an impact.
“If you’re Tuchel you definitely have to be looking at him for sure, and I hope he does, I hope the next couple of games in the next couple of weeks for England I wouldn’t even call Harry Kane up give him a rest.”
Welbeck has been backed for an England recall despite not playing for his country for seven years, though cover for Harry Kane is still a position up for grabs in the squad.

Welbeck leading race for England selection
Ollie Watkins has only scored one Premier League goal this season, in Aston Villa’s 3-1 win over Fulham in September.
The 29-year-old is not in form, whilst Spurs striker Dominic Solanke is constantly struggling with injuries.
Tuchel has called up Ivan Toney previously, and the former Brentford striker may return to the Premier League in January to boost his chances.
Marcus Rashford has three goals and an assist in his last three games for Barcelona, and the Man United loanee could be an option to start up-front.
