Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana shared a light-hearted message to a teammate following the side’s narrow win against Lincoln City.
Chelsea beat Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup, putting an end to their three-game winless run and advancing to the next round of the competition.

Meanwhile, Fofana was given a start by Enzo Maresca, and despite the side’s early elimination risk, he helped the side defend their lead. He posted a humorous message dedicated to a teammate after an incident during the win.

Fofana posted a message after full-time on the team bus with himself and a message to Filip Jorgensen.
He captioned his message with: “Thanks you” after the defender was caught by the goalkeeper while attempting to punch a ball clear in the box.

Jorgensen has been given the chance in goal after Robert Sanchez’s red card against Man United, meaning he was suspended for the League Cup fixture.
It wasn’t the most convincing performance by the goalkeeper, however, as he only made one clearance, one high claim and an error leading to a shot.
