West Ham could now accept Danny Ings offer after £6.5m reveal – sources

Danny Ings has an uncertain future at West Ham with the club ready to accept suitable offers for the striker this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Ings, 31, has featured sparingly since joining the club from Aston Villa last year (2023).

It is believed West Ham could now part with the former England international as they look to reshape their strikeforce in the off-season.

He will enter the final year of his contract at the London Stadium in June.

According to Capology, Ings earns £125,000-a-week – or a total of £6.5million across the 2024-25 campaign.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that West Ham are keen to get the forward’s high wage off the books.

Ings has scored just one goal in 27 total appearances in the 2023-24 campaign – but just seven of those outings have come as part of the starting lineup.

He has hit just four goals in 49 total appearances for West Ham.

Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (30 April) that the London club are also expected to allow Michail Antonio to depart the club when his contract ends in June.
