West Ham fans are all saying the same thing after what the players did against Fulham

West Ham United fans are now adamant that they will not qualify for Europe this season after their defeat to Fulham on Sunday afternoon (14 April).

The Hammers were sunk 2-0 by Marco Silva’s side at the London Stadium after Andreas Pereira bagged a brace on either side of halftime to secure the victory.

David Moyes’ side struggled to muster much of a comeback after Fulham bagged in the ninth minute and their tepid display left them eighth in the Premier League table – two points behind seventh-place Man United in seventh who have a game in hand.

Since their victory against the Toffees at the start of March, the Irons have only managed one league victory in the six subsequent games – their 2-1 win against Wolves last weekend (6 April).

West Ham United fans “wave goodbye” to European qualification

Their chances of qualifying for the Champions League by winning the Europa League now also look very slim after they suffered a 2-0 loss in the first leg of the quarter-finals against Xabi Alonso’s expected Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday (11 April).

In the wake of the “dreadful” defeat, West Ham fans took to social media to react, and many fans blame Moyes for potentially killing the club’s chance of a fourth-straight season in Europe.
