West Ham fans are all saying the same thing about David Moyes leaving
West Ham fans have ripped into manager David Moyes for his reluctance to make substitutions in the 1-1 Europa League draw against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday (18 April).
The Irons took the lead on the night through Michail Antonio in the first half but were visibly tired after the break, allowing Leverkusen back into the game.
Jeremie Frimpong put the gloss on a 3-1 aggregate win for the German champions with 89 minutes on the clock.
Despite West Ham’s drop-off after the break, Moyes waited until the 84th minute to roll the dice – bringing Ben Johnson and Maxwel Cornet on for Vladimir Coufal and Edson Alvarez.
Nayef Aguerd was replaced by Angelo Ogbonna in the first half after picking up an injury.
Moyes has just weeks remaining on his contract at the London Stadium, and Football Insider revealed on Monday (15 April) that the Irons are now set to part with the Scot this summer.
West Ham fans slam Moyes game management after Leverkusen loss
Fans had their say on social media – with one even claiming the 60-year-old’s “subs and tactics kill us every game”.
In other news, West Ham told £50m striker bid will be accepted.
