West Ham fans excited by update on David Moyes replacement – ‘Masterstroke’

West Ham United fans are excited by reports claiming that the club are actively seeking replacements for David Moyes.

Sporting director Tim Steidten and the board are reportedly assessing options to take over from the underpressure Scotsman amid the Hammers’ dwindling form.

Bosses had initially planned to keep Moyes in the dugout for at least the rest of the season, but a winless run in 2024 and numerous heavy defeats have seemingly altered the club’s position.

This fresh update comes following reports that the Irons have stalled contract negotiations with Moyes in the wake of their 6-0 humiliation against Arsenal on Sunday (6-0) – the club’s seventh straight game in all competitions without a win.

West Ham United’s board are making moves to find a replacement for David Moyes – and fans are excited

Moyes has been the subject of immense scrutiny from much of the West Ham fanbase for what they deem an overly defensive brand of football and lack of on-field ambition.

Gratitude remains for Moyes for frequently qualifying the Hammers for European competition and winning the Europa Conference League last season, but masses of fans are adamant it’s time for change.

They have taken to social media to react to the board’s “promising” new stance.
