Jonathan Calleri makes a rare start for West Ham against Everton in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon at the London Stadium – and fans on Twitter are worried.

The 23-year-old has been given a rare start by his manager Slaven Bilic, who has put faith in a player that has scored only one goal in the league this season.

Striker Andy Carroll is out injured which has opened up the chance for Calleri to be given his first start by his club.

Calleri’s only strike for the Hammers came during a 3-1 win against Middlesbrough in January when he came off the bench to seal all three points for his side.

Now, he will be tasked to help his team climb up the table as they aim to finish the season on a high.

Bilic’s recorded a 2-2 draw against rock-bottom Sunderland last time out and they now face a tougher test against Ronald Koeman’s men.

One fan stated that Calleri starting for the London-based club proves how bad it currently is at West Ham.

Furthermore, another supporter stated that he doesn’t like Calleri starting up front on his own as attacking duo Sacko and Ashley Fletcher are on the bench.

Overall, many fans were worried whilst others did not know what to think about Bilic’s decision to start Calleri against the Toffees.
