West Ham fans rage as ‘disgraceful’ Kurt Zouma footage analysed
West Ham fans have raged as “disgraceful” footage has emerged of Kurt Zouma in their defeat against Chelsea on Sunday (5 May).
The Hammers captain was seen jogging slowly back towards his own goal before Nicolas Jackson was allowed to tap the ball home into an empty net.
It was an extremely poor showing from the Frenchman and the rest of his Irons teammates as they fell to a 5-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Cole Palmer scored the opening goal on 15 minutes before Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke ensured it was 3-0 at the break, with Jackson adding a second-half double.
The result means West Ham remain ninth in the Premier League table, but they are now five points behind Manchester United and their hopes of securing European football for next season are over.
