West Ham fans are disappointed after it appears the Hammers have failed to secure a loan deal for Arsenal right-back Calum Chambers.

The fans took to Twitter to register their thoughts after news that Middlesbrough look set to announce a deal for the player shortly.

Sky Sports broke the news that Middlesbrough had agreed a deal with the Gunners for the England Under-21 international on Monday afternoon.

Hammers fans thought that their club would make a move for the youngster and have been left deflated by the news this afternoon.

Chambers has failed to impress for Arsenal in the latter stages of last season and in his sole appearance this season, when they lost 4-3 at home to Liverpool.
