West Ham fans react on Twitter to reported Evra move
By Dominic Toner
West Ham could be set to complete a loan signing for Patrice Evra in January – and the club’s supporters took to Twitter to claim they are not interested in his signature.
The Sun claim that Italian giants Juventus are prepared to send the 35-year-old defender on loan until the end of the season and the Hammers already have a good understanding with the club.
It understood that Evra has fallen down the pecking order at Juventus this season after a dip in his performances and falling out-of-favour with manager Max Allegri.
The report also details that West Ham flop Simone Zaza is set to be recalled to the Italian side, following an unsuccessful loan spell in London.
Evra is a well known name in the Premier League and the left-back won five top flight titles during his time with Manchester United.

West Ham fans expressed their displeasure with being linked with Evra and feel they should strengthen other areas of the pitch instead.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Having watched Evra in the Super Cup against Milan last week, I'd be more than happy for us to miss out on a deal for him. #whufc

would be great for the dressing room but we don't really need a left back as much as a right back

Evra is now reaching the twilight of his career, but still believes he can compete at the top level.
The French left-back has made just 13 appearances this campaign for Juventus and is regarded as a squad player.
He would be able to make a smooth transition if he moves back to England and would be used to the pace of the Premier League.
West Ham do already have two left-backs though in their squad, with Aaron Cresswell regarded as the first-choice ahead of Arthur Masuaku.
Eva would certainly add some vital experience to Slaven Bilic’s squad if he moved to the London Stadium and made 379 appearances for Man United.
In other West Ham transfer news, Shaka Hislop claims that a Man United forward should join the club in January.
