'Different level', 'Sensational' - West Ham fans rave over £70kp/w ace in win v Leicester

West Ham picked up a well-earned three points away at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday with a 2-0 win against Leicester City – and fans were left raving over the performance of Manuel Lanzini.

A Joao Mario goal in the 34th minute of play handed the advantage the way of the Irons who had fallen right back into the thick of the relegation battle prior to the fixture due to a number of defeats.

The Foxes came out a different side in the second half but the best chances continued to fall with the away side as Leicester struggled to contain David Moyes’ side on the break.

Marko Arnautovic came close to scoring in the second 45 but his efforts in the box were denied by some last-ditch defending, but Mark Noble made certain the victory was all theirs in the 64th minute with the Hammers second of the game.

Despite a number of impressive displays, it was the display of Manuel Lanzini, the £70,000-a-week playmaker,, as reported by Silly Season, that had supporters of the Irons salivating.

There was talk during the winter months that the Argentian would be on his way to Liverpool in the summer but after an injury-ravaged campaign, speculation of a summer transfer has died down.
