West Ham fans react on Twitter to impressive Zaza display v Crystal Palace
By Harvey Byrne
Simone Zaza continued to lead the West Ham line in West Ham’s match against Crystal Palace – and Hammers fans took to Twitter to applaud the striker for putting a shift in against the Eagles.
Zaza, 25, started the match upfront for the Hammers in his sixth appearance for the club during the 1-0 win over Palace with a Manuel Lanzini strike earning them the three points.
Zaza played 86 minutes for Slaven Bilic’s side before being brought off for Jonathan Calleri.
Despite still remaining goalless for the club, Hammers fans took to Twitter to applaud the Italian international on the effort he put in against the south east London side.

Outstanding shift put in by Zaza up front today. Won most of what was put up to him and chased and tackled back. #WHUFC #CRYWHU

Zaza completed a move to east London in the summer on a season long loan deal from Italian giants Juventus.
The east London side had started the new campaign slowly, but they will now be hoping that the return of Cresswell alongside their victory will now help them to push up the league.
They are currently placed in 15th with seven points from their first eight Premier League fixtures.
They face a struggling Sunderland side next week, who are currently bottom of the league with just two points.
In other West Ham team news, Danny Gabbidon has hailed the performances of Aaron Cresswell and Winston Reid for their displays against Palace.
