Football Insider verdict:
West Ham’s news manager Manuel Pellegrini is showing no signs of slowing down in this summer transfer window after securing three new players to his squad already. They have now turned their attention to Correa from the Spanish top flight and he is a very exciting prospect. The three-time capped Argentina intentional is a a technically gifted gifted attacker that usually plays on the left flank and has bundles of pace. His dribbling and directness is surely something that would see him be a big success in the Premier League, but adapting to the physicality of the English game is a potential hurdle. West Ham need to make serious improvements to their squad if they are to compete in the top half of the table next season and adding someone with Champions League experience is a big plus. Correa certainly has room to grow at his age and could be another dazzling South American to light up the Premier League if given the opportunity.
In other West Ham transfer news, they are lining up a move for a Manchester United defender.
