West Ham make Graham Potter sack U-turn
West Ham United are laying the groundwork to sack Graham Potter before the international break after a U-turn, sources have told Football Insider.
Potter is under immense pressure at West Ham, following the East London side’s fourth Premier League defeat in five games.
The Hammers sank to a 2-1 loss at home to Crystal Palace, which has put him on the brink of losing his job.
It was originally thought that the 50-year-old would have until the next international break to turn things around, but sources say that there has been a change of heart from the hierarchy and defeats to Everton and Arsenal could seal his fate.

West Ham to sack Potter before relegation fight
West Ham are desperate not to get dragged into a relegation fight, which looks a tough task given they sit 19th in the Premier League after five games.
While the hierarchy at the East London club are eager to give Potter a real chance, they will take decisive action if they feel their top-flight safety is at risk.
Club chiefs David Sullivan and Karren Brady have already begun leading the search for a new manager and have sounded out a number of potential contenders.
With all three newly promoted teams having relatively successful starts to the campaign, the threat of relegation has only been increased.
In the past two seasons, the sides coming up from the Championship have all gone straight back down the following year, but this term that is far from a certainty.
West Ham plan for life after Potter
Meanwhile, West Ham are reportedly considering a move for a manager labelled “David Moyes 2.0” if they sack Potter.
That is according to their former senior scout Mick Brown, who claims that Sean Dyche has emerged as a contender to take over in East London.

Since leaving Everton in January, the boss has been linked with the likes of Rangers and Leicester, but has yet to land a new role.
Dyche has been likened to former West Ham manager Moyes due to his pragmatism and ability in avoiding the drop, something which may be neccesary for the Hammers given the position they are in.
