West Ham next manager: Championship promotion winner made favourite after Nuno sack latest
Nuno Espirito Santo is under heavy pressure at West Ham as the Hammers edge closer to relegation.
The East London side are currently stuck inside the bottom three, four points from safety.
As a result, Nuno has been heavily linked with the sack, with the former Nottingham Forest manager only registering two wins in 14 matches to date.
Currently, Nuno is the favourite to be given the boot next in the Premier League, with Slaven Bilic linked with a sensational return to West Ham.
Slaven Bilic favourite to take over at West Ham
Bilic was formerly at West Ham between 2015-17 in what was a memorable spell in the dugout.
The former Hammers star guided the East London club back to Europe, with West Ham competing near the top of the Premier League.
Since then, Bilic has overseen mixed success in England. The 57-year-old previously guided West Brom back to the Premier League in 2020, before being controversially sacked later that year.
Bilic also had a short spell at Watford between 2022-23, before leaving the club after a poor run of form.
Most recently, the manager was in charge of Al Fateh SC, which lasted until 2024.
Now, one bookmaker has Bilic as the favourite to take over at West Ham if Nuno is to depart, placing the odds at 5/4.
Who else is in the running for the West Ham job?
As well as Bilic, there are plenty of other managers in contention for the job.
Gary O’Neil has been placed as the second-favourite at 11/2, while Michael Carrick is also in the running at 8/1.
A sensational return for Harry Redknapp at West Ham could also be on the cards, with the manager at 9/1.

Other outsiders, include Kieran McKenna, Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, are who placed at 9/1 and 10/1.
