West Ham receive 'shot in the arm' after 'massive' Zouma picture emerges - pundit
Kevin Campbell has claimed “it’s massive” for West Ham to have Kurt Zouma back out on the grass.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said the 27-year-old’s return to first-team action will be “a short in the arm” for everyone at the club.
Zouma has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the 3-2 win over Chelsea at the start of December.
As pictured by club media (19 January), the centre-half was stepping up his recovery from injury at the club’s training headquarters at Rush Green.
The French defender has mightily impressed since arriving to the London Stadium in a £29.8million from Chelsea last August.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his reaction to the image, Campbell said: “That’s massive news for West Ham.

“They’ve missed him. Zouma is a massive player for them. When he comes back into that team they will be very strong.
“He will have to prove his fitness but he is a strong lad so I don’t think it’ll be long.
“They paid big money to get him and he proved he was worth it with his performances.
“It will be a shot in the arm for everyone at West Ham when he returns to action.”
Zouma has made 12 appearances for David Moyes’s side this season.
The Irons are also without another centre-half, Angelo Ogbonna, because of injury.
