West Ham tipped to boost top-four hopes by signing striker from Euro giants
West Ham will target the signing of a new striker ahead of a new centre back this January.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Michail Antonio’s form.
Antonio, 31, has scored just one goal in his last 13 games after an impressive start to the season.

The striker recorded five goals and three assists in his first five league appearances this season.
The Jamaica international is the only senior striker at West Ham.
As such, Kenny claims a new striker is top of David Moyes’ wishlist this January.
“You can’t rely on one man to score all of your goals,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Antonio is great but he’s not going to score every week. Sometimes that pressure of scoring goals can almost be a burden.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if West Ham went and got a player to come in and support him.
“You look at Antonio’s injury record as well and it doesn’t make for good reading.
“Maybe just a younger player, someone who can learn from Antonio.
“Or they could go the other way and sign a more experienced, quality player from one of the big European teams.
“They could go and do that because West Ham can offer European football.
“They also have a bit of new money. If they were to sign one player in January I think it will be a striker. Get it done.
“I know they need a centre-back but goals will get them into the top four.”

West Ham remain in the hunt for a top-four spot though their form has dropped off in recent weeks.
Their last league win came against Chelsea on 4 December.
In other news, West Ham have made an approach to sign a striker and £16m could seal the deal.
