West Ham tipped to complete ‘brilliant’ Broja signing after source reveals late-window plan – pundit
West Ham should move for “brilliant” Southampton loanee Armando Broja this month, according to Kevin Phillips.
The former England striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 20-year-old’s Premier League experience makes him an attractive proposition for David Moyes’ side.
This site revealed yesterday (27 January) that West Ham have narrowed their striker search down to Broja and Ben Brereton Diaz, 22, as the end of the window approaches.

Football Insider revealed the Irons’ interest in the Albania international on Monday (24 January) after recruitment chief Rob Newman personally watched the striker in action earlier this month.
Phillips insisted the Chelsea striker is a “better option” than Blackburn’s Brereton Diaz.
“I really like Broja,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“He’s got the experience of Premier League football, he’s got that air about him – that slight arrogance.
“I think he’s done brilliantly, he’s a powerful lad – and for me, he’s a better option than Brereton Diaz.
“20 goals is a great return for just over half a season in the Championship, but if I was West Ham I would be looking at someone who has already got that Premier League experience.
“I think Broja is a really good player.”
Broja is contracted until 2026 at Chelsea after penning new terms last summer (2021).
The striker has netted seven goals in 20 appearances for Southampton.

Chile international Brereton Diaz is out of contract this summer (2022), but Blackburn hold the option to extend his Ewood Park stay by a further year.
The transfer window slams shut on Monday (31 January) at 11pm.
In other news, pundit predicts West Ham star “will be looking to move on” this summer.
