West Ham told to pull U-turn as Said Benrahma transfer plan reported – pundit
Kevin Campbell has urged West Ham to keep Said Benrahma at the club this summer amid links to midfield star Jesse Lingard.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 26-year-old could be an important weapon as the Irons fight on several fronts.
According to The Sun (8 June), West Ham are ready to listen to offers for Benrahma this summer with David Moyes looking to upgrade his squad in the transfer market.

The report claims the Hammers remain keen on bringing former loan star Lingard back to the London Stadium.
Benrahma, who cost a reported total fee of £30million in 2020, scored 11 goals across all competitions in the 2021-22 season.
When asked if selling the Algeria international could be a short-sighted move by Moyes, he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury: “It could be.
“Moyes knows what he’s getting with Lingard. He had a really good six-month loan spell there, didn’t he? He tore it up at West Ham.
“But I think if you can keep both at the club, you keep them. If Benrahma can score double figures again and you can get Jesse Lingard in that bracket too. That could make a real difference to their season.
“I’m not so sure they’ll look to sell Benrahma. I think they’re going to want to fight on a few fronts next season. They will need to keep as many weapons as they can.”

Lingard, who is available on a free transfer, notched nine goals and five assists in 16 games during a six-month loan spell at West Ham in 2021.
The Irons will play Europa Conference League football in the 2022-23 campaign.
