West Ham told to U-turn on 24-year-old as Luis Diaz transfer cited - pundit
Paul Robinson has urged West Ham not to part ways with Nikola Vlasic this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one suggested the 24-year-old will come good given “a little bit more time” to settle in England.
In August 2021, West Ham signed Vlasic from CSKA Moscow in a £34.5million including add-ons.
The attacking midfielder struggled for regular game time in his first season at the London Stadium.
According to Irons’ insider’s Claret and Hugh (9 June), the club are looking to offload their big-money signing this summer.
The Hammers are said to realise it will be difficult to sell Vlasic, who has four years remaining on his current contract, so would be open to loan offers.

Robinson insisted not all players can “hit the ground running” in the Premier League like Luis Diaz, who arrived at Anfield in the January window.
“Players need time,” he told Football Insider.
“It takes some players longer than others to settle into the Premier League.
“Luis Diaz has been the exception to the rule. He has hit the ground running at Liverpool.
“Let’s be honest, more often than not players take time to settle into the league.
“David Moyes’ recruitment has been brilliant over the years. For me, recruitment hasn’t really been a problem at West Ham.
“I think Vlasic just needs a little bit more time.”
