West Ham vs Burnley ref watch: Three decisions that Michael Salisbury got wrong
West Ham earned a vital three points with a 3-2 win over fellow strugglers Burnley at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Burnley went into the lead at the London Stadium as Zian Flemming powered a header past Alphonse Areola, but the sides were level at the break as Callum Wilson turned Crysencio Summerville’s deflected shot in from close range.
It was the Hammers who looked the more likely to win it as time went on, and Tomas Soucek repeated the trick that saw him score late on against Newcastle last week as he bundled home in the 77th minute.
The game ended 3-2 as Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Cullen netted just before the end, and Football Insider have looked at three decisions that referee Michael Salisbury did not get right on a tense afternoon in East London.

Quilindschy Hartman should have been booked
West Ham grew into proceedings in the first-half and attacked down each wing with real intent, as Burnley’s summer signing left-back Quilindschy Hartman was put on the back foot.
The hosts were aiming to attack down his flank in the 53rd minute before he stopped Aaron Wan-Bissaka in his tracks with clearly no attempt at all to play the ball as it was still at the feet of Lucas Paqueta.

Referee Salisbury somehow did not see fit to put in him in the book, even though it would have certainly been deserved.
Zian Flemming did not deserve his booking just afterwards
There was a sense of making up for his prior mistake as Salisbury booked goalscorer Flemming just two minutes after he failed to do the same to Hartman.
The burly Burnley striker tripped Freddie Potts in the middle of the pitch in the 55th minute, and even though he had committed a couple of fouls beforehand, it was an unfortunate yellow considering the area of the pitch and the fact the hosts were not staging an attack.
Max Kilman should have been penalised for off-ball incident
The game got stretched late on as both teams strived for a winner, and Max Kilman had a really poor game that should have seen him pick up a booking or potentially something worse in the final 20 minutes.

The 28-year-old brutally stopped Jaidon Anthony as the Clarets tried to attack down their left-hand side, as he went out of his way to effectively run into him and push him off the pitch but was not spotted by referee Salisbury.
It certainly deserved a caution at the very least as the winger soon trudged off holding his hip following the poor challenge.
